Leading Stoker M. J. Richardson, Royal Navy, who was killed in action when HMS Queen Mary was sunk during the Battle of Jutland, 31 May 1916.

Able Seaman C. B. Farmery was a veteran of the Battle of Jutland who afterwards served aboard the Q-ship Stonecrop which sank the U-151 on 17 September 1917, but was herself torpedoed and sunk by the U-43 the very next day; one of only 10 survivors of the sinking, Farmery survived a second sinking when HMS Sword Dance struck a mine in the River Dvina in June 1919.

Stoker Petty Officer E. J. Berry, Royal Navy, H.M.S. Broke, who was killed in action at the battle of Jutland on 31 May 1916

Stoker 1st Class A. E. Bessant served in HMS Queen Mary during the First Battle of Heligoland Bight on the 28 August 1914.

Great War 'Thames Estuary' casualty group of three awarded to Stoker 2nd Class T. E. Griffiths, Royal Navy, who was killed when the destroyer HMS Recruit was struck by a torpedo launched by the German submarine U-6.

Petty Officer J. D. Towillis, Royal Navy, who was killed on 6 August 1914, when H.M.S. Amphion struck a mine off the Thames estuary. She was the first ship of the Royal Navy to be sunk in the Great War
